I discovered new store with asian food! It's called Asia Market. 
Well there isn't much food, but a lot of tabelware which was beautiful. Of course I'll buy some :D But for now I've bought korean sake ^ ^ Didn't drink it yet. Hope it's tasty ;)
There was Korean guy who was watching korean drama xD I was so jealous coz I would like to watch it too ^ ^

Aid centre

On Wednesday I was in aid centre I've wrote about before. It wasn't that bad ^ ^ Everybody was very kind for me. I've a good talk with psychologist that lead the group I was going to meet with. I've found out a little how aid centre works, what women should/must do there. It's pretty interesting.

On the group when I had to talk about the research I would like them to do, it was hard for me in some strange way. I was calm and nice of course. I felt good. But when I had to talk my mind went blank. I didn't know where to start and what to say 
first. 
I've had only difficult words in my head when I supposed to speak simple. I think I was talking a little incoherently ^ ^"
But maybe it's just me. I'm almost never satisfied with what I've done when it comes to speak to other people.
If there will be second time when I'll have to speak like that it'll be easier for me :) First time is always hard ;)

Easter Monday

Yesterday was Lany Poniedziełek or Śmigus Dyngus in Poland. I don't know how to translate it into English - Dousing Monday? Hehe ^ ^ Well, it's old tradition in Poland. On that very special Monday boys should douse girls with water ^ ^ If young woman was dousing with water that means she won't be an old maid.

It's pretty fun runnig with bottle of water and dousing each other :D When the weather is good boys runs with bucket of water o_O It isn't that fun when somebody douse you with a bucket of water when you're going somewhere. But that's our tradition :)

Unfortunately yesterday weather was so bad (because of... snow!), that I haven't seen anybody running with water :( But I have a lot of fun with my nephew. We were dousing each other in home and he could do this all day xP He didn't want to stop ^ ^

As I said before I've planned to cook a lot. And I have :)

"Żurek". I've cooked it. Usually you don't eat this with bread but I've felt like eating bread ^ ^


"Rzeżucha". My mum always sow it on Easter. It's tasty and looks good :)

Easter

2 eggs I've coloured with crayons ^ ^ Another 2 was boiled with onion peel that's why they're so brown/red (?) 


Blessed food eaten for Easter Sunday breakfast - in Polish "święconka". In ours święconka there was:
4 eggs, sausage, a piece of bread, salt&pepper, sugar lamb, 2 piece of cake.
Can't wait to eat it ^.^ It's just a simple food, but on Easter Sunday it tastes sooo good :)

It's nice that she gave it to me. Aren't they beautiful? When I look at it spring comes to my mind :)

Scared ^ ^

I'm helping my thesis supervisor in her research. My job is to go to different aid centre to test women who were a victim of violence. I'm asking them to fill a questionaire for me.

Till now I was leaving questionaires in that kind of centre and I was picking it up later, when women has fill it. I haven't got contact with those women.
But on next Wednesday I'm going to meet with beaten women. I'll talk about the research to convince them to help me (and my supervisor ;) and fill the questionaires.

When I was offering my help to do this research I've known what it'll looks like. But now when I'll really talk with those women I'm a little bit scared. I'm wondering how it's gonna be...
On next Wednesday I should be calm and friendly, talk concrete. I can't frighten them with this research. I must encourage them with a smile. 
Life has tried those women sorely.
I think I'm afraid to meet them because I don't want to hurt them by inappropriate talk _-_
I'm really excited about it... Excited in a good and bad way ^ ^

Easter is coming :) I'm planning to cook a lot :) My mum laughs that I won't handle this coz I have so much to do. But I'll handle it :) I'll cook a lot of tasty things :D Can't wait to cook and take pictures of it ;)


It' snowing in Poland (hm, maybe I'll say - near Warsaw ^ ^) for 2 days now. That is strange... I like snow but it's not the time for it. And it's melting because of high temperature.

Palm Sunday

All Easter palms that I've got in my house :)


I like dired flowers used in palms. Even though they're dried they're so colorfully.



Today is Palm Sunday. Most of good Christians goes to church with Easter palm.  I'm a non-believer but I like all Christian feast because I treat it like some kind of old tradition in my country. I believe that all of you know why on that day people are going to church with Easter palms :) I like them because they're so pretty ^ ^ so colorful.

As a non-believer I don't go to church... Usually. Sometimes I have that kind of need to go there. But it's really rare ^ ^ Today I haven't got that need :P But of course in next week I'll go to consecrate food for my family.

I want to... I have to... And Adler :)

Today's lecture was so inspiring for me! It was about Adler's psychology. What inspired me so much? He said that the most important thing in your life is your goals! (your aim in life, things you really want to do or have). Of course it have to be possible to reach. In other case you will fall ill - if you do, then you'll use your sickness as a reason to do nothing. You'll say "If only I wasn't so sick I could do so many things". And that's a lie! You only use your sickness as an exuse.

So I though... If I define my goals maybe it will be easier to reach them? I can try.

What is the most important to me? What I really want to do?

1) I want to go to Korea so badly :P and want to learn Korean!
2) I want to be a good psychologist!
3) I want to have a fun life in which a lot of things (positive things ^ ^) is going on.
4)I want to have good boyfriend ^ ^" In future I want to have family of course 
but let's start from a boyfriend :P 
5) I want to speak and write English fluently ^_^

Hm... I think it's everything for now. What my plan is? I'll define what I have to do to achieve those things. Then I'll try to do those things in my everyday
 life :D

1- I have to work so I can save some money for a trip to Korea. I have to learn some Korean on my own (I have book for it and in the internet there's a lot of videos about how to "learn Korean"). Maybe later I should look for somebody who could teach me more.

2- I have to learn! Read all those books that I have on my shelf. I have to do my best to write very good master's thesis!

3- I have to meet with my friends and have a lot of ideas what we can do together to have fun (not only drinking :P). I have to be open for a new people. I cant' be afraid of meeting new people! (it's shame to tell but sometimes I'm afraid... I'm just ashamed _-_")

4- Ups... That's difficult xP Really! I don't know what should I do to have a nice boyfriend... Maybe meeting new people and being open for them is the way? And I can't judge them after one talk.

5- Oh, that's easy. I just have to learn more! :P Read and speak more in English. Writing on blog is a good way to improve my skills :)

My plan for a better life! :D
I hope I can do those things and be happy in the same time. Some free time is needed too ;) Working and learning too much isn't good for nobodys health ;P

Everyday life...

Um... Nothing interesting happened lately...
The weather is bad again. It makes me feel a little bit depressed. I was hoping that spring is coming and 
there will be no more rainy and windy days. But I was wrong :/

I go to school, come back home and want to go sleep _-_ Instead of reading books for my studies I do nothing... Oh, it's not "nothing"- I watch TV, surf through net, listen music... But I should learn! And read a lot coz I have so much books (big books :P ) to read.

From now on I will watch less TV. Read more.

And tomorrow I will do something fun coz it's friday - beginning of the weekend!

Teatr Wielki

I've just come back home from Teatr Wielki, where I was watching ballet "Oniegin". It's second ballet I've seen in my life ^ ^ But I like it a lot, so propably will see it more often. Today I was so moved that I shed a few tears. That was a little bit embarassing because it looks like nobody was crying but me ^.^"

Busy... ^_^

I'm busy, a little bit tired but it's nice, coz I do a lot of things I like. Mostly it's meeting with my friends ^ ^ Yesterday I have a meeting with Asia later with Ala... It was super fun!

I didn't see Asia for so long. Last time we met was... I don't know... maybe a year ago? It's terrible, don't you think? We talked a lot, ate something good :) She gave me a birthday present! I was so surprised! She bought me underweare! In really pink color! Or maybe orange? I don't know xD It's crazy present but I like it a lot xD I put it on today and feel cool in it ;D

With Ala we were looking for a nice place to go for an hour _-_" We're such a dork :P It was windy and cold but we keep on searching for a cash machine and good place to stay. Finally it turn out that Ala's credit card was invalid! 
Oh mo na! So we've gone to  Komisariat - really nice bar, that we've never been in - we like to goes to new places :)
We talked a lot and laugh even more! Each of us drank 2 beer and we felt a little bit drunk xD But it was niceeee feeling ;)

Starówka in Warsaw. I like to walk there a lot :) Especially in the night, but here you can see it in the day.

I was thinking about having blog sooooo long...
I've decided to 'have it done' on my birthday. But I was so busy that I couldn't make it or maybe it was my laziness? :P
Anyway... Ta-dam! Finally I have my blog! Now I have to only write here... Simply, right?
